Jacqui started her karate training in 1989 at Redhiil Karate Club with Sensei Trimble and at Cinderhill Karate Club with Sensei Chris Hallam. In 1990 Jacqui competed as a junior grade in the Last Vegas Open as part of the FSK National squad. Jacqui passed her 1st Dan black belt in 2006 and in that year began teaching at the Dojo in Beeston. In 2011 Jacqui competed in the Ozawa Cup in Las Vegas as a black belt coming fourth in her catagory. After building up the junior section at the Dojo and producing many black belts and competitors In 2018 Jacqui was awarded the FSK National Instructor of the year award.
